Points Leaders - 9 Holes

Golfers 13 and up in this division are not included in the points. Instead, they will all be invited to the end of the year Tour Championship where they will compete head to head for the 13 and up 9 hole Tour Championship. Golfers 12 and under will accrue points throughout the summer as they battle for the 12 and under 9 hole Tour Championship. We are doing this to encourage the older golfers to play up (18 Holes) when they can while still being competitive towards end of the year honors.

How do the Points Work?

Each event will earn players points that will help them earn an invitation to our Tour Championship (double points) at Huron Meadows Golf Club. These points will also determine our Player of the Year.


Points Earned at Each Event:

• Ties for first place will be broken by playoff (if possible) or by scorecard to determine the the top point getter in each event.

• All other ties will share the points. For example…if there is a tie for second and third, then the two players will share the combined points - 50 + 40 = 90. They will both receive 45 points. All decimals get rounded up to the nearest point.

• Our Tour Championship at Huron Meadows Golf Course will be for the top 20 players (season points leaders) in each division for boys and girls.

• Our Player of the Year honors will go to the leading point winner in each division for boys and girls. Points earned at the Tour Championship are double the other events.
